Well here we are again, another Friday and the week end starts here. It’s been a very busy Friday two clients this morning for Injury Treatment & Management. This afternoon food shopping until about 3pm. From then on working on my project for my first product through my work on John Thornhill’s Master Class. John Thorhill’s class has been excellent all the way through. I have learned so much about blog set up and everything else to do with making the blog look good. Now to making our own products under Johns watchful eye is a great experience.
I don’t know what your weekend is like, but mine is Saturday in the Willows Clinic doing lots of massages including a Hydrotherm Pregnancy Massage. I quite like doing these massages as they are carried out with the client lying on their back. On warm water mattresses with a lumbar support under their knees. A correctly sized opsipital support under their head. Putting them into the perfect anatomical position for maximum comfort in any stage of pregnancy. Then the whole body can be worked on using the Hydrotherm massage system without the client ever needing to turn over or even move. The whole routine is carefully worked out for early pregnancy through to full term. It is also very good for people with mobility problems. I will all being well be finished work by 4pm.
Then it’s showered changed out to friends for tea at a friend’s house. But we will need to be home by 11pm at the latest, because tomorrow we have a Market Stall at Fairyhouse race course Sunday market. Selling the body building products we provide through our website www.irelandFIT.com. We have to be there by 7.30am ready to set up so we will need to be up by 6am.
Well what a weekend here in Ireland the whole Lisbon treaty and its coming referendum was debated fiercely over dinner last night with a group of close friends. It raised some very interesting arguments for both sides. But the no side won at the table. The conversation then flowed naturally to the all Ireland GAA final championships which took place today between the counties of Kerry and Cork. The influx of people to the city of Dublin from the combatant’s home cities could only be compared to being like a plague of Locusts. The whole city was a wash with the colours of Green and yellow (Kerry) and red and white (Cork). The Guards (Irish police) struggled to control the sea of fans that were spilling all over the streets of the capital. Guards on horse back and cycles were doing their best to herd the supporters of the roads, to keep them and passing motorists safe.
The result of the game came as no surprise with Kerry wining their 5th all Ireland title in 10 years. They have won more all Ireland titles than any other county in Ireland. This is the reason that Kerry is known as the kingdom. It was a great day in Dublin and we as a family took off to take advantage of the wonderful sunshine and go to a market in the next county.
We rounded the day off with a nice Italian meal.
I am sorry it has been so long since the last time I posted anything up on my blog. But lots of things have been happening. I have been to weddings, 40th birthday parties and on Holliday to Malta. Now there’s a place I would not go again.(More on that another time).
First off we had a very busy week in the clinic leading up to my partner Irene’s brother’s weddings. I know what you are thinking weddings?!! Well on the Friday they had the civil ceremony at the registry office and me and me moait (Irish slang for female partner) went to her brothers place minded the kids and made a big, big buffet for everyone coming back from the registry office. Then we mucked in and helped feed everyone and wash up and do.
The next day we picked up Irene’s niece and we all went down into the country to a quaint little hotel that specialises in weddings. I think it was called the station house because it used to be a railway station once pone a time. A nice little touch is that the old signal box is converted into a suit for the bride and groom to spend the wedding night in. we had the family room because we looked after the kids from Irene’s brother’s previous marriage.
All in all it was a good do with another wedding ceremony carried out by a monk from the arse end of no where. This was all done in the grounds of the hotel. The bride was fashionably late just over the hour. We left early next day to get ready for our holiday to Malta.
This blocked most of my week for posting and John Thornhill’s course. But I am getting back on track now. It’s very interesting because we a re starting to produce our first product.
Well here in Dublin, so starts another day. I am in the very very fortunate position of being able to start work at 9.30 am and have enough massages, Injury treatments and body wraps to take me through to 11pm tonight. I will only get 30 mins for a brake. But it is worth it as this is how I earn my living and help other people at this time. When I finish before I crawl into bed I will do my very best to visit at least 5 of the blogs of my fellow students on John Thornhill’s internet Master Class course.
I must say I am thoroughly enjoying John Thornhill’s Master Class course. Not only do we get lots of contact through email but webinars and lots of easy to follow videos. John Thornhill has now even put links to all our blogs onto his blog site at http://planetsmsblog.com. Which is giving us all a fantastic opportunity to get lots and lots of free exposure for all our blogs. John Thornhill is a really nice man, down to earth and is very easy to approach and is certainly the person to align your self with if you want to be a successful internet marketer and enjoy the course whilst learning to do it.
Unfortunately I do not have the time spend every day on the blogs because of my work schedule. But that is how it is when you work for your self. At least when I have learned these new skills I will have a less difficult way of making a living.
Well it’s time to go into the Willows my clinic here in Dublin and start work.
Until next time love light and happiness to us all.
This weekend I had a wonderful time with my grand children. I spent Friday evening playing with my youngest grand son Evan. He has grown so much since I last saw him. He can also put sentences together. Not bad for just 2.
Then on Saturday I spent time with my other grandchildren Sophie 4 and Joel 2.5. We played on the swings and slides at the park. It was a really nice day. Then off to
Mc Donald’s for a happy meal and a milk shake. Then we watched some Disney DVD’s Beauty and the Beast & Snow White. Hi Ho!!
Then whilst everyone slept it was onto the lap top and back onto the course with John Thornhill. To follow some of the things that needed doing for the course. I have to say I am really pleased with the way John and Daniel are helping me with the blog and how it is coming together.
Sorry I missed a few days but it has been mad here, since I got back from Galway.
There have been lots of people with injuries to see and massages to do. I think there must be more pregnancies in Dublin at the moment. Because I am doing far more pregnancy massages.
Actually it is quite rewarding doing pregnancy massage because the mothers to be get lots of relief from back pain, swollen tired legs, sore feet & boobs.
The Method of massage that I use is Hydrotherm massage. The lady lies on two large hot water pillows, with her head on a head rest and her legs over an inflatable support which is placed behind the knees. This gives the perfect ergonomic position for comfort. Once in this position the lady never has to move again. Because I can work the entire back of her body between her and the water mattress. This system is also very beneficial to anyone with poor mobility.
Well that’s me for to night. I have to be up early in the morning, I am on the red eye flight back to Nottingham England, from here in Dublin. So I get a weekend with the grandchildren.
This is the last day of my time here in Galway and it’s raining and blowing a gale. I have to say I have had a wonderful time here in the west of Ireland. The scenery is breath taking and there are some very nice small beaches.
As I said before the main reason at the moment that I have started this blog is I am one of John Thornhills students and as part of the course you make a blog. I have to say that the course is wonderful. Each week we get our assignments in writing plus a series of step-by-step videos. All I have to do is follow the videos and everything comes together perfectly. John is an excellent teacher.
I must say I am really enjoying the course. Everything is so easy to follow. The people at D9 hosting have been very helpful very prompt in their replies to any questions that I have had along the way. One night whilst working on my blog at 11.00pm I submitted a help ticket and it was replied to within 10 minuets and the problem solved. How is that for service? I can really recommend D9 hosting.
You can sign up for their services just click here . If you interested in hosting I hope you will give D9 a look.
Today I am in great spirits I am sitting in my hotel room at the Connemara Cost Hotel, looking from the window in front of me straight across Galway Bay. This is August bank holiday weekend here in Ireland.
Just before breakfast I spent half an hour sitting in the Canadian hot tub overlooking the bay. The air outside the tub was a bit cold but ha who cares. The sea & the countryside around are breath tacking.
The drive down was excellent yesterday. It’s the first time I have had the opportunity to drive to the West of Ireland since coming here to live. I have to say the roads over to here from Dublin are far better than I expected. I feel the place is magical.
So for now I way sight seeing. It is so nice to be away for a few days.
